Iran suggests the NSA is actually an Israeli agency. Why it just might be right.

There’s been a lot of consternation over ongoing revelations about the NSA’s practice of spying on American citizens. But until last week, there was one allegation I hadn’t heard:

US National Security Agency (NSA) ‘spies on US for Israel’

That claim was made in the headline of a column published by Press TV, a state-sponsored 24-hour English news organization operating out of Iran. The article went on to allege:

When the Memorandum of Understanding between the NSA and Israeli intelligence services was published in the media months ago, showing how “raw data” was passed to Israel without any controls whatsoever, it became clear.

The NSA is actually, legally and very literally a foreign spy organization.

So according to (who are we kidding) the Iranian government, the NSA is quite legally and literally a spy agency run by the “Zionist entity.”

And in case you have any lingering doubts, the NSA doesn’t even seem to be bothering to cover its tracks. Just take a gander at the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office’s* newest spy satellite, the NROL-39:

Here’s a close-up of that logo:

Look familiar? It should:

And so, it would appear that the Iranians might be onto something: the NSA is actually an arm (no pun intended) of the Learned Elders of Zion(ism).

Just wait till they find out about Stanley Fischer.

*The NRO and the NSA are both overseen by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, so I’m not going to bother distinguishing between the two agencies for the purposes of this investigation.
