From today’s United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA*) press release [emphasis mine]:
Today, in the course of the regular inspection of its premises, UNRWA discovered rockets hidden in a vacant school in the Gaza Strip. As soon as the rockets were discovered, UNRWA staff were withdrawn from the premises, and so we are unable to confirm the precise number of rockets. The school is situated between two other UNRWA schools that currently each accommodate 1,500 internally displaced persons.
Sort of convenient that the UNRWA happened to discover a brand new vacant school in Gaza, after it tweeted the following just eight hours before:
Perhaps the school was unavailable** because it was filled with rockets?
*Kind of funny how only half the title made it into the acronym. Almost helps you forget this is an entire UN agency dedicated to perpetuating the refugee crisis.
**For the record, the Arabic version of this tweet*** uses the word “all” without the modifier “available”:
***I don’t read or speak Arabic, but both Bing and Google seem to agree with this assessment. You are more than welcome to correct me.
