Why I’m not too worried about the Patriots in the Super Bowl

While the Seahawks were being Bronco-ed by the Packers early on Sunday, I published a post titled “Why I’m not too worried about the Seahawks’ early deficit“. Since that worked out so well, I’ve decided to provide an encore in hopes of a repeat performance.

As you have almost certainly heard, the New England Patriots are again suspected of having cheated, by deflating the balls they used to defeat the Indianapolis Colts in the AFCCG. One delicious detail in particular has been appearing in headlines: the NFL confirmed that 11 of the team’s 12 footballs were deflated beyond regulation.

That’s right: New England managed to handle 11. But 12? 12 was too much. As it will be Super Bowl Sunday. Go Hawks.
