An important correction (and an endorsement?)

In my recent post re: Joshua Goldman’s guest column in the DP, “My ‘Birthwrong’ experience”, I referred to DP columnist Ernest Owens as “the venerable Ernest T. Owens.”

It has recently been drawn to my attention that this appellation was mistaken:

Those of you who are literate can see that his middle initial is, in fact, ‘L.’, and my post should have reflected this fact. I would like to fully express my regret over this misunderstanding, and pledge my assurance that it will, in all likelihood, not ever come up again.
